Plant of the Month: Lotus maculatus x berthelotii ‘Fire Vine’

Lotus maculatus x berthelotii ‘Fire Vine’

Silver foliage plus fiery orange flowers, which create the effect of small fires on the trails. Please note that this genus usually need a cooling period over winter in order to flower in the summer. If they survive through winter after the first year planting, they will therefore usually flower in the second year.
